OPERATOR TRAINING

EnviroProcess LLC staff has over forty-eight years experience providing water and wastewater operator training. Experience includes teaching courses for the Wastewater Operators Short School at Virginia Tech, at major treatment facilities, and for industry. Training programs are provided both in a classroom setting and at treatment facilities, depending on customer needs. Classes cover all aspects of water and wastewater treatment processes, troubleshooting, and required administrative continuing education credit. Specialized training programs can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the customer.

ONLINE TRAINING NOTICE
Due to COVID 19 restrictions limiting indoor gatherings, EnviroProcess LLC is offering online training using the Zoom platform. Classes are one to two hours in length, unless otherwise noted, and will provide DPOR training credits. Classes are announced at the beginning of each quarter. Wastewater operators are required to complete all continuing education (CE) hours by February 28th, 2022. In response to several requests, EnviroProcess LLC is offering several classes prior to the deadline. The following classes are scheduled:
February 15 – Extended Aeration Activated Sludge, Process Control and Troubleshooting - Class length 2 hours - $50.00 Time - 1:30 - 3:30
This class is designed to provide all operators with information relating to extended aeration activated sludge treatment plants, including organic loading determination, equipment description, process control techniques, and troubleshooting process problems.
February 17 - Pump Basics – Class length 2 hours – Cost $50.00 Time - 1:30 - 3:30
Pump Basics class is designed to provide insight into centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Class topics include basic pump operation, understanding pump curves, calculating friction loss and pump head. Pump packing and mechanical seals are also covered.
February 22 – Nitrification and Denitrification Processes – Class length 2 hours – Cost $50.00 Time - 1:30 - 3:30
This class provides in depth information relating to nitrification and denitrification processes. Areas covered include activated sludge biology, required process conditions, process upsets, and troubleshooting.
All classes are presented via Zoom, offering the opportunity for students to ask questions and provide comments. Attendees can register on my website www.enviroprocessllc.com.
